Hello, hello! Tatum here!

When I was 15 my swim coach introduced strength training to me. I quickly fell in love with it. The cross trainer in me made a deal with the coach to lift weights three times a week over the summer in exchange for taking the summer off from swimming. During a time when female athletes didn’t lift weights, I became one of the guys and I strength trained with boys’ football team. After a few months, I was transformed inside and out! I not only developed an athletic appearance, but I felt more confident, and my swim times improved. Over the years I entered into a long career of endurance competition from qualifying and completing the Boston Marathon, the Chattanooga 60-mile stage race, and the Ironman Hawaii World Championship, but I have never stopped lifting weights.

Despite graduating with a degree in Environmental Management (BSPA) at Indiana University Bloomington, my passion significantly evolved towards the fitness industry. Once my husband and I began a family my heart and enthusiasm found a new home in the world of fitness.

Today, I enjoy witnessing my daughters excel and compete in their respective sports. Being an active participant in their fitness journey and watching them grow both as athletes and individuals brings me great fulfillment.
